In 2024, the 63rd United Nations Commission on Social Development (UN CSocD) set a priority theme titled - āStrengthening solidarity, social inclusion and social cohesion to accelerate the delivery of the commitments of the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and Programme of Action of the World Summit for Social Development as well as the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Developmentā.
The Brahma Kumaris (BKWSU) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) of the United Nations accredited with General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Over the last 80 years, the Brahma Kumaris has applied unique spiritual principles in various aspects of development of individuals and society in over 110 countries. Each year, the Brahma Kumaris is invited to submit a written statement towards the UN CSocD priority theme.
